“Don’t be pushed by your problems; be led by your dreams.” ~Unknown
The other night I woke in the middle of the wee hours of the morning with a burst as if I was jolted awake. It was very disorienting and for about a minute I could not figure where I woke up. It is very upsetting and a bit uneasy waking up in that way but we all experience this at one point in our lives. I hope so otherwise I could be cracking up. I felt as though I was caught between two worlds and not at all sure which one was the real world. I was in the middle of an intense dream state. The dream was vivid and very real and I was living the life I dreamed for myself. I was doing work and talking to others in my dream ( a few I had not seen for many years now) and it was simple and easy and flowing. Life was grand, really grand. It was real and I could smell and taste and see with intense being and awareness. I felt like I was home. When I was shocked awake there was a flash of brightness, not a light shining at me, a brightness and I turned to see a bright light now on the wall of my bedroom. I blinked confused and trying to make sense of what had happened. Something had happened. But what?
I am a spiritualist, a true believer of angels, fairies, spirit guides, spirits and things that we try to explain away with religion and science. We human beings just do not understand it, Yet. I also think that if we open ourselves up to the messages being given to us we will see so much more about how important following our true nature and our dreams. I have tried to see life with a different perspective . One that is far from the way I was taught and brought up believing. I think one of the keys to life, though there are many, is problems are there as course corrections and not as something we need to overcome. The problems showing up in your life and mine show us what it is we truly want. The dream we are having for our lives is shown through our problems. I like to think of it this way. You are heading down a gorgeous country lane. You come to a fork and you head down the right fork when you suddenly come across a muddy field in the middle of the lane. Do you turn around and head back to the other fork or do you look across the mud to see on the other side your dream, your life the way you want it. Do you cross the muddy field not sure what will happen or turn back giving up on your dream? I know I head through the mud every time. I curse at the mud and at times sink up to my neck but you always get to the other side eventually. Later you find out the other path led out of the forest and country beauty to an insurmountable cliff. Not being pushed by your problems and believing in your dream, being led to the life you dream is the reward and best problem to overcome.
Now why for this unnerving dream of mine? I have come to an understanding from my guides this was very real. Spirit was answering a call. I was sending out an S.O.S. though not aware then, my upstairs friends came by for a chat. All my problems were just course corrections. I needed to stay strong, believe in my dream, because it is real. The vivid dream was them showing me how real my dream is and do not give up. Think of the mud in the field as a great facial and not a problem. I have changed my outlook and see how wonderful problems are for they lead us to our dreams being real.
Scenic Oil Painting Vermont Landscape Dirt Road and Trees
A scenic landscape oil painting is a painting showing one of Vermont dirt roads in the trees. One day as I walked down the road on our property I had stopped to rest under the tree and this was my view. Just down the dirt road as it bends out of sight were to very happy dogs. This was their daily run and hot or not dogs always love to explore the woods.
