Shaking things up.

from https://www.facebook.com/Monarch?filter=1A firm believer of if you want something to happen in your life then you better work hard making it easier for things to happen. Another words, stop thinking why is my life not working, figure out what you need to do and put in the hard work. No one who ever made something for themselves ever did it by sitting around contemplating and meditating about it. It is why I have cut back on writing about things I would like to see in my life because I am not going to see them unless I shake things up. The things I want can manifest and will because I believe it is a fact, all I need to do is stay focused and work. It has been very hard work. There are moments when I say why am I doing this because on the surface it is not working. Life has shown me when I have struggled the most I have also gained the most, I mean curl your toes skip down the street and giggle uncontrollably with utter joy.

I am selling this house I presently live in so I can grow and experience life in a more meaningful way for me. Nothing wrong with the house or the area but I have stopped being who I am here and need to move on. I am changing the sites (noticed the change on this one?) and I am redesigning my product line. I am focusing on nature and organics with art, fairy houses, and organically grown herbs and plants. The later is when I get to where I am going.

Since life is to be lived and not to contemplate away I see no reason to sit someplace and watch my energy being depleted and my spirit slip into atrophy. Why worry about death, to me, that is a living death. I know this is what I need to do. It is going to take everything I got and believe in. I can not wait for the moment when it all gels together. If you see a middle-aged women giggling and skipping down the street just say to your self “Oh I know her” but please do not call the asylum. We all have things we want to do, were meant to do. Why not shake things up and get moving?

I Believe.

I believe in….

What is it you absolutely believe in, the world, your husband, family, job? Or do you believe in magic and simple ordinary miracles as I do. It is a small exercise you can do and it takes about five minutes out of your day. Take a piece of paper not an electronic gadget but a pen or pencil and a sheet of large blank paper. Funny put just using this methods connects you to the thoughts and to your self. Relax. Let your mind drift. When you are relaxed think about these two words,’I BELIEVE’, what comes to mind. Do not think just allow your self to feel. After five minutes see what you have jotted down. Some of it might surprise you and some make you laugh but all is a truth about you.

This is what I jotted down maybe it will help you get started.

I believe in the magic of the ordinary moments. I believe nature grounds me and nurtures my spirit. I believe that finding your passion will change your life. I believe in hard work and working hard for your goals. I believe watching a star filled night sky affirms my faith in the universe. I believe in the power of compassion. I believe thoughts are energy. I believe the earth is sacred. I believe fairies are real beings. I believe angels and spirit guides stand by us gently guiding and helping when asked. I believe creativity imagination and inspiration comes from our true self, the Divine within. I believe love heals all. I believe anything is possible if I believe.

Pass it on. @123rk.com Stock Photo.

“Worldly riches have been feared, despised, condemned, and even hated by spiritual aspirants, because of ignorance of how to be in them and yet not of them, how to possess them and not be possess by them. Doubtless this attitude of repudiating and ignoring wealth is less deceiving than the other error; greed and the worship of money and the fear of losing riches. But the really wise avoid both attitude through knowing worldly wealth to be but a reflection of the real, the spiritual riches that must be sought first, last and always. Having found the riches of heaven, you cannot escape the riches of earth unless your purposefully repudiate them.”

Keywords for Etsy Shops.

I just discovered something that is hidden and I am sure not many Etsy Shop owners are aware of, your shop sections determine the keywords for your shop. Did you know that small obscure fact? I have used etsy.com for years and never knew and if not for setting up my weebly.com website I may never found out. Etsy has definitely changed and not for the better. So please take a look at what you are selling on etsy and see if you can pump up your section titles to match the prominent words you tag your items with. Here is another tid bit put commas in so it defines more words. If you want to see your keywords right-click on your shop page click on view page info and scroll down to keywords. Best of luck and happy changes.

Also I have been busy as you may have guessed designing a web site for my fairy houses, painted cottage furniture, and garden wildflower landscapes. I discovered weebly.com through another etsy shop owner. She too felt that if she was doing all this work promoting and marketing her work why was she handing over a nice percentage to etsy.com? They weren’t marketing her shop and since the changes made in SEO by the big boys, etsy once again has left us out in the internet ether’s. At weebly.com I even have a nice shop broken down to the different areas I sell in. Woodland fairy houses, painted furniture, and oil and watercolor paintings all set up with PayPal or you can use Google Checkout. Get this it is FREE. I think the internet fairies are behind this one. Seriously, even me the terminator of computers crashing, set it up and even took my domain name at GoDaddy to point to my new site.

Fairy Pranks.

Bucket-headed dog

Bucket-headed dog (Photo credit: Paul Kidd)

This past week I made a life changing decision. The decision is not the purpose for writing, it is what happened after I decided. I guess you would say I am a bit of an eccentric thinking person. I mean after all I talk to fairies. I also talk to inanimate objects (they don’t talk back, happily) and animals are drawn to me.  Nature and I are one. People talk about angels and spirit guides, how to connect. I feel if you can not connect to the basic elements or other living energies also occupying our world, how can you be one with your angels and guides.  Is it possible?

Back to fairy pranks, if you have followed my writing you may remember me saying the fairies hid my bucket. I spent (I better not say how long) a considerable amount of time looking for my bucket. No reason but I wanted to make sure it was handy because soon I would be needing it. Some time had passed and I thought enough. I want my bucket and I want it now. This is where some one might think me eccentric but I stood in the middle of my living room and plainly told Briar(my fairy friend) she needed to tell her friends to return my bucket. I needed to start making my recent decision into reality and my bucket is part of that, so if you please. Within the hour I went into the kitchen and right there under my sink was my bucket, complete with brush and rag waiting for me to use. I said a heart-felt thank you. I picked up the bucket and filled it with water and soap and off I went.Elsie Wright with a fairy

Since then more things are showing up, such as two computer discs I have needed for months and a book I thought I had lost in one of many moves. Now I can not place this all at the feet of Briar because Briar is one of many beings that surrounds my life.  I am quite certain fairies work with angels and guides and many times fairies do not get the credit for work they are responsible for bringing about, this goes to angels guides or spirits. Just as there are many different types of species here, there are many beings from different realms and dimensions also, some around us. Some playing pranks and some are just outright grumpy. For myself I will keep believing and talking to things I know are there even if I can not see them except as wisps of light or maybe as a stranger that suddenly appears in my darkest hours.

Thursday Thoughts for Creative Spirits.

Photo from actioncoach.com

“When we focus our energy toward constructing a passionate, meaningful life, we are tossing a pebble into the world, creating a beautiful ripple of inspiration. When one person follows a dream, tries something new, or takes a daring leap, everyone nearby feels that energy and before too long they are making their own daring leaps and inspiring yet another circle” – Christine Mason Miller.

“The number one challenge I hear …is that they don’t have enough time for creativity. The belief that they need hours, days or even weeks to express their creative spirit holds them hostage, preventing them from taking any action at all. This leaves them depleted, discouraged and aching for the joy they know creativity has to offer. It doesn’t have to be that way. Our lives are made up of moments-by filling them with our creative spirit, we bring ourselves and the world alive” – Jamie Ridler
Just a little something to think about,  I was having a rough day and inspirational words always make me feel better.  Maybe you are in need of an inspirational hug, here is a big thoughtful hug to everyone.

Who could I inspire? Maybe you.

Thanks to Google Photos

I read these words by Mindy Tsonas, creator of Wish Studio, thinking how powerful a statement that is and could I do that for another creative spiritual being. Maybe or maybe it is you who will inspire me?

“Having one person you really admire reach out and support you – validating that what you believe in might actually be good – is huge. I really hope to be that person for someone else in my own creative life.”

Can you feel the vibration these words give off?

Bring fairies into your life with a fairy house.

Woodland Fairy House

Newest Fairy House at BetweenTheWeeds Shop

I love to create fairy houses. Why? Because I know fairies exist. Fairies were once easily seen and the veil between our realms was translucent.  Now only a few are honored by the presence of fairies but we all can if we would let them in. Fairies are angelic helpers so to speak. They are here to assists our spiritual sides. My fairy is known to me as Briar Goblinwitch. She comes to me in my dreams and loves to help me on my path. She and her friends also love to tease me. At the moment they have hidden a bucket but in time it will show up.
Maybe you would like to develop a relationship with a fairy or a fairy clan? I can definitely tell you when you place a fairy house in your home or in a garden it is the first step to having magic come into your life.
This is one of the newest little fairy house I have in the shop at Between The Weeds.A little bit of a wee woodland house but has so much great energy. I love the stone I painted of a Dog-Tooth Violet on the side. The woodland fairy hose is ready for your own little touches and maybe you inner child’ imagination.

There is a deep connection between myself and the natural world. The energy I feel when in nature is invigorating at the very least. It is more of a spiritual connection and it is why I paint boxes with flowers and birds. I paint one of a kind hand crafted wood boxes and make fairy houses because of my deep reverence for this energy that surrounds me every day. I hope this box I created touches you and uplifts you. Fairy gift found today.

Fairies sent me flowers today.

Early this morning I was out with Tuck on our daily walk down the usual road. It was warm and humid and the sun was just sending its healing rays down on us. It is the same road we take every day but today on the side of the road was this plant with these sweet little flowers. It was not there yesterday and amazingly enough it was not there at midday. If I had not run back with my camera it would have only been an image in my mind. It was a dainty tiny plant. I like to think it was a gift from my fairy buddies for they knew how weary this dog walker was today. It is a reminder how things pop into our lives unexpectedly. As I gazed down at this tiny little fairy blossom the heaviness lifted and gratitude for this moment filled my heart. So thank you dear little friends of mine and may everyone find a fairy gift today in their lives too.
