New Faerie Cottage in the Woodland Fairy House Shop.

Have you ever seen a better looking faerie cottage than this one? Briar explained to me just the other week she knew of a fairy in need of a one room cottage. Of course I had to oblige and created this woodland shabby chic style cottage. The walls are painted white and there is even a royal blue mattress on the four post bed. Honestly I wouldn’t mind one for myself. Would you like to know more about the chic fairy who lives inside and is willing to move to your location, cottage and all. Well buy the house and with it comes a tiny bio of this whimsical little faerie.

Fairy House Cottage Custom Made with Faerie Furniture

Woodland Fairy House, a custom made cottage made from branches bark moss and bits and bobs. Inside is a burlap rug with a large comfy chair, four posted bed, bark bureau, side tables, and a sculpted painted twig fantasy light (use the imagination to see the light).

Can be placed inside or out. Outside it will last for about 1 to 2 years and in for a little girls lifetime. I like to spritz my houses to keep the moss supple. It is not preserved and has no chemicals and if in the right environment has been known to start growing.

Measures: 10″ x 12″ x 8″h. and weighs about 4lbs.

The branches are nailed into place and the main carcass is glued and nailed. It is very sturdy.

I have just finished another little fairy house ready to be furnished for the woodland fairies that are sharing my home. I can not wait for them to pick out the furniture. They have taken up residence in my living room and the racket they are making. I finally had to lay down some rules and restricted them to the living room for the evenings, they taunted poor Tucker with all their shenanigans. All night long, giggles and music float on the air up into my bedroom. At first it was fun to hear the whispers and to see a flash of light as they shimmered from their realm into mine. I know once they are settled in their new woodland fairy house things will settle back down to normal. Well my normal at least.

Check back and see the completed house and maybe the fairies will allow their pictures to be taken too.

Saying good-bye to my fairy art studio.

The woodland fairy art studio found a new home. I am delighted. There are certain things I create that is a small way connect to me. This fairy house was one of them. It always had a special place in the studio while it waited for someone to buy. I am thrilled it found a home of another artist. It is a gift to a mother for a birthday and I know it will bring much creativity along with it. Fairies have a way of finding just the right person. Be sure when you buy a fairy house either for yourself or someone else listen carefully and on the whisper of moonbeams you will hear the name of the new resident fairy dwelling inside. It may take a little time but with patience it will come. Every thing in it own time.

Some new little fairy houses have popped up in the shop over the weekend. I spied an enchanting bedroom cottage complete with a wire moss bed and a wonderful magical beach themed café. Have you stopped in to see?

A beach side café with a branch table and two whimsical wire moss chairs sit on a bed of moss. Along the back side is a driftwood shelf with plants and shells spilling out of a painted pot. The house is constructed of cedar to withstand the elements and the roof and back are made from beechwood branches. Moss and lichen grow everywhere. Nice addition to a seaside cottage or for those dreaming of one.

Woodland Fairy House Cafe Goes to the Beach

Custom fairy house with cedar and branches for walls floor and ceiling is covered with moss. Inside a shelf along the back just under the window made from drift wood and decorated with shells and plants. The main feature is the café table and chairs. The table from branches and the chairs are wire with moss cushions and ribbon backs in ocean blue. A whimsical sea-side retreat.

Measures: 11.75″ x 8.5″ x 8″

But wait there is an enchanting sweet little bedroom completely furnished with everything a woodland fairy needs. This little woodland bedroom has an elevated bed made of wire and a nightstand along side. There is moss everywhere to keep fairies cozy. The house is made from cedar and beechwood branches form the roof and side. Decorate a self in your own bedroom and a fairy will keep you safe all night long.

Woodland Fairy Bedroom House Furnished with Bed and Chair

A woodland fairy house bedroom made of moss cedar and branches comes completely furnished with wire bed shell nightstand light and chair. The bed is slightly elevated so the wee fairy can gaze out the window in the crack made by the branches. There is a bark mat and moss growing everywhere. Very sweet. The bed even has a ribbon bedskirt and a mass mattress.
